Inspired by a Rice Krispies commercial, I got the idea to make these cute little Easter treats. I love how they look so springy and bright. I looked around online a bit and found the suggestion to substitute chinese noodles for the Rice Krispies to make them look even more realistic! So the girls and I set out to make our own!
Here is what you will need: Marshmellows, chow mein noodles, candy eggs, peeps, butter and pam spray. thats it!
Melt butter and marshmallows in a pan over low heat like you would for Rice Krispies.
I kept Baby entertained with an ice cube :-)
Stirring in the chow mein noodles until coated, then spray hands with pam and shape into nests on a cookie sheet and allow to set for a little while.
Fill nests with candy eggs and place a peep on the edge. We used tooth picks to secure them so they would not fall off.
